When we think of the first sin, we often picture Eve eating the forbidden fruit. But what if the true root of humanity’s fall was found in Adam’s disobedience? God gave Adam a direct command to protect and lead, yet he chose to remain passive. Instead of stepping in to protect Eve, Adam willingly disobeyed God’s instruction, leading to the separation between humanity and God.
